Watercolor is capable of capturing light, sun, air, mist in just a few strokes.  It is also the least controllable, unpredictable, versatile and expressive medium.

Christine Calandra is an elected member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society.  Her work has been featured in various publications in New Jersey. Her paintings reflect the beauty that surround us in our daily life.  She teaches watercolor painting in the Northern New Jersey area and at the New Jersey shore.  The emphasis is on learning the techniques required to express your own creativity with watercolor in a relaxed, non-threatening atmosphere.  Her goal is to diminish the fear and bring out the creativity that lies within each of us.

She is also available to demonstrate to your group or to spend a day in your school with students giving them the opportunity to create a painting with step by step instruction.  Private or small group classes can be arranged.
