Watercolor is an expressive and versatile medium.  Watercolor is capable of capturing light, sun, air, mist in just a few strokes.  It is also the least controllable and the most unpredictable medium.  The goal is to diminish the fear and bring forth the creativity that lies within each of us.   Christine Calandra teaches watercolor painting in the Northern New Jersey area.  The classes are for all levels with an emphasis on learning the techniques required to express your own creativity with watercolor.  She is also available to demonstrate to your group and to spend a day in your school with creative students giving them the opportunity to create a painting with step by step instruction.   Private or small group classes can be arranged. Besides watercolor instruction, workshops are available in this area for all level artists.  These one day workshops are held on Saturdays during the fall, winter and spring.  Each workshop features an award winning watercolorist from New Jersey giving the student an opportunity to learn from masters of the medium.  The artists demonstrate their approach to creating a watercolor painting and the student paints as well.  Through this method, many successful artists have evolved.  Come, give it a try..there is an artist within you!!!
